I follow the path of the Sufi Ruhaniat, loving this Sufi family with all its abundance, light, joy AND of course it's challenges ; )
I love the internet and the opportunity it brings me to keep in touch with the family world wide with ease ; ) .
I am a painter and am in the last months also receiving many new melodies ; ) I am also a Raging Granny (no you don't have to be a Grandmother to be one ; o and a member of Women for Peace.

At the moment I am also working with a group of people to form a new Spiritual Pplitical Party for our next national elections. Ya hayy Again Beloved : )
The Raging Grannies started in the States (where else ; )
It;s largely made up here of folks from the Women for Peace movement but anyone can join. Basically it's 'Granny' aged women who are sick of the governments (or who ever) not listening to the people and to common sense!
We have a song to the good old "Glory Allelujah" song
Were the Raging Grannies and were here to take a stand
against the senseless killing raging in Afghanistan
Sudan, the Middle East and in Iraq and every land
We RAGE to END ALL WAR!!!
We are sick of being lied to, sick and tired of being lied to,
By silent politicians who rage wars that kill our sons
We rage to end All war ; )

We generally write our own songs in Dutch to 'known melodies' and take the texts with us on a flipover so everyone who wants to can join in.

We don't just rage against war but environment and social injustice etc.

We are a grand bunch of ladies. When we are working on a text it sounds more like a chikcen coop!!!

Our next event will be on Womens Day ; ) In December we went and sang in Parliament (which isn't allowed, but we stood up and sang a relevant text as we left the room ; ) So we were not removed (as they put in the papers ; () The debat was about whether we should extend "our time" in afghanistan we said they should withdraw the army/ forces and use the money for NGO's .... ok of course they didn't listen, but we got a lot of airtime ... with interviews on radio. Insh'Allah next time TV ; ) Hu Knows.

I had hoped to use some of our DUP songs, or my own, but the grannies are much too stroppy for the peace stuff. The texts really hit the mark, and usually have the names of the relevant politicians in them etc ; )
I'm sure if you google on the web you will find some local grannies ; )
Have a good one,
Zubin Nur ; )
