The Tavern is open!!!

Out in a Cow Pasture March 08

Out in a cow pasture
Out among the tall dry grass and cow patties
I go...I've been given a task
but before I can do this task...I have to integrate
integrate the initial presumption
the initial visualization

My feet on the ground
The earth supports me yes
the universe supports me yes yes
Nature and the animal beings are my teachers yes
and people hold on wait...

I sit in the field
the grass is blowing in the wind

I go on remembering all the people who support me,
wish the best for me
and I cry
Yes yes you gotta remember them
people my beloveds they support me making my way
they support and love me through it all
yes yes
I've got to remember

And in remembering I also remember
that the support and love I give is so important

All my relations all all all
want love and support

through the valleys and high places

As I walk
I will try to remember
this helps

And then I could go on to do my "work"

Blessed One,

From deep in the Heart, I bow in reverence for the support you have offered and given. Your poem means so very much to me, knowing the sacrifice you make to be present.

It's nice to see another's beautiful poetry here in this space. I was getting tired of looking at mine.

We'll get together soon.

ALA!!!

Hakima
